Sanctification

1 Corinthians 1:2-3: to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their’s and our’s: 3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are sanctified by FAITH in Jesus Christ. His death. His burial. His resurrection.  1 Peter 1:2 who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance. Sanctification is a grace to be received and enjoyed. This is an invitation into a lifestyle of sanctification. To be in the world but not of the world. This is an urgent call OUT of lukewarm christianity INTO holiness, Godliness and POWER. We are called to carry the message of Heaven and to LIVE a lifestyle of demonstration and POWER (Corinthians 2:4).

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.

Psalm 37:5-6 says, Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”  When we trust God to bring about our righteousness by simply committing our way to him and trusting in him, we engage in a process of sanctification founded on encounters with his loving grace.

If we are going to experience the fruit of righteousness, we must learn to trust God in his plan for our sanctification. We must learn to trust that in DAILY encounters with Jesus we will experience freedom from sin and healing for the wounds that drive us to the things of the world.

1 Peter 2:9 KJV But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. Commit your ways to him and trust in him. Ask him to reveal his heart for your righteousness. Ask him to guide you into a process of sanctification marked by his grace, POWER, love and correction. May you experience righteousness and holiness DAILY as you encounter the perfect nature of Jesus Christ. May you be fully devoted to your spiritual development in the hands of the Potter. We Thank The Lord we will be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ as we engage in the process of sanctification based on our relationship with a PERFECT FATHER!

Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
